  1. If you can’t log into GP Dynamics it might be a stranded user issue:

    Please try going to the SQL Server and to your GP Dynamics and look for the activity table. Open the table and delete the stranded user account. You will then be able to log on.

  2. You want to upgrade from version 6 to version 8 - can I do a direct upgrade?

    No you cannot - you have to first upgrade to version 7 then 7.5 then to version 8.

  3. You want to upgrade from GP 8 to GP 9, which SQL service pack does Microsoft recommend?

    Microsoft recommends SQL service pack 4. If you do not have this, your platform will not be supported.

  4. When I print a vendor check - the wrong address is on the check. How can I correct this?

    There are a few different address that a vendor can have - checks however use the 'remit to' address. Make sure the remit to has the address you want printed on your checks.

  5. I have a printer attached to my computer but I still cant print reports.

    Make sure you have specified a 'named printer' inside of the GP application. Go to setup / system / named printers.
