Dynamics Solomon
- Favorites allow you to open a Microsoft Dynamics SL window, Web page or external file and/or program in one step.
For example, to create a Favorite for the General Ledger Journal Transaction screen:
- Click on Utility > Favorite Maintenance
- Enter a unique Application Number (i.e. 123.345.66)
- Enter a description of the shortcut (i.e. Journal Transaction)
- Select Solomon Application for Application Type
- Enter the Microsoft Dynamics SL screen number (i.e. 0101000)
- To create a Favorite for the CustomerSource web site:
- Click on Utility > Favorite Maintenance
- Enter a unique Application Number (i.e. 123.345.66)
- Enter a description of the shortcut (i.e. CustomerSource)
- Select Non-Solomon Application for the Application Type
- Enter the Microsoft Dynamics SL screen number (i.e. 0101000)
- Enter explorer.exe and the CustomerSource URL (i.e. explorer.exe https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource)
- Click Save to save the Favorite
